Yn natblygiad cyflym dyfeisiau electronig modern tuag at ddyluniadau teneuach, llai a pherfformiad uwch, mae dewis pob cydran yn hanfodol. Fel gerau mewn offerynnau manwl gywir, maent yn fach ond yn anhepgor, gan bennu dibynadwyedd, hyd oes ac effeithlonrwydd y cynnyrch terfynol gyda'i gilydd.
